Shaarika Menon is a distinguished psychologist with a robust academic and professional background, whose contributions to precision mental health and wellness have made a significant impact in Kerala and beyond. Her journey from academia to establishing innovative mental health services showcases her dedication to improving access to and quality of mental health care.

Shaarika Menon holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, followed by an MPhil from the prestigious Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, Cochin. With a unique blend of psychology and law, her research during her MPhil focused on forensic psychology, specifically examining Narcissism and Psychopathology in Economic Offenders.

In 2019, Shaarika founded MINDPORT in Trivandrum, a pioneering psychotherapy clinic that brought together the regular services of Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Consultant Psychologists, and Psychiatric Social Workers. MINDPORT was the first of its kind in Trivandrum to offer interdisciplinary inclusive therapy under one roof. Recognizing the growing need for comprehensive mental health services, Shaarika expanded MINDPORT to include in-patient services, launching Mindport Care Villa, an exclusive residential space dedicated to mental wellness.

Beyond her clinical work, Shaarika is the founder of Agents of Hope, a registered NGO committed to the education, medical and mental health support, and empowerment of women. She is an advocate for mental health awareness and has delivered lectures across various corporate, professional, and educational institutions in Kerala. Her insights have been widely published in leading newspapers and magazines, and she is a regular contributor to television and radio programs, participating in shows and debates on mental health.

As a certified Mindfulness Trainer and Practitioner, with over 14 years of experience in the field, Shaarika Menon continues to inspire and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing mental well-being and breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health.
